Pallet classification

 

The most frequent misunderstanding in orders from our clients, or in their requiremets for price offer is clasification of pallet assortment, especially EUR new and EUR A.

Usually we use 3 classes:

- EUR pallet new  N

- EUR pallet used A

- EUR pallet used B

EUR A – superfine used pallet

So called EUR pallet could show signs of wear (atrittion), but has light color, once or multiple times used, economize manipulated in clean environment.Wood is light, and pallet does not show any signs of reparation.

 

EUR B – dusky pallet

So called EUR pallet shows more marked wear (atrittion), is dark, but is not damaged, so is fully operational. To this category could be classed also pallets repaired, which fully suited to standart of UIC-435-2. Here could be cracked non-median upper board.

 

Pallet must be repaired if:

 

• missing or broken some of timbers of loading area
• missing or broken some of stringers
• if some timbers of loading or thrust face is cracked in longitudinal axis and one or more nails exposured
• if is minimum 1 block of pallet damaged showing two or more nails exposured ( 1 nail exposured in tolerance), or if the block lost its cohesion as unit, or if the block missing
• if any of blocks does not fit into prescripted size: side blocks 145x100x78 mm (signed with CD or other insurer, number of licence and image EUR) median blocks 145x100x78 (not signed)
• if signed less then 5 side blocks from 6, so is allowed one block with no sign, but fitting to required proportion

 Pallet is fully operable, if  has not one of above mentioned damages.

 

Pallet is unusable, if visibly lost required stronghold and rigidity.

It is unrepairable, if damaged median cross board under the loading area.
